  • Mid-tier builder turning over in excess of $500M with a team locally in Sydney of 200 people
  • Projects across private sector and government projects valued to $100M

The Position
  
Reporting into the Project Manager and working closely with your site team you will join either an Educational Development or Data Centre. You will take the lead for the financial management across the project with a small team underneath that you will train and mentor.
  
What You’ll Do
  
Financial Management & Reporting
Support Project Managers with budgeting and financial project tasks, review BOQs and maintain financial tools. Provide timely reports and maintain records per the financial calendar.
Progress Claims & Payments
Submit and track progress claims, administer site payments, and process them using financial reporting software
Contract & Risk Management
Manage subcontractor procurement, contracts, insurances, and final accounts. Assess risks, review tenders, and support claims and disputes.
Procurement & Administration
Oversee procurement schedules and subcontractor agreements. Manage contract milestones, stakeholder communication, and time extensions.
Compliance & Design Management
Ensure insurance and contract compliance. Review designs, manage issues impacting timelines/costs, and document site progress.
Project Support
collaborate with consultants, prepare handover manuals, and support Practical Completion.
  
What You Bring:
  • Degree in a relevant discipline - Construction Management
  • Strong technical knowledge of project software, BCA, and project planning.
  • Strong negotiation skills and local sub-contractor and consultant relationships
  • Experience working in the tier two environment on projects in excess of $50M
Salary will be depending on experience however figures between $180K – 220K can be expected
