An exciting opportunity is available for a Civil Design Engineer with a strong background in land development to join a well-established and growing civil engineering consultancy based in Perth. This role is ideal for a mid-level engineer looking to take the next step in their career and contribute to the design and delivery of residential, commercial, and industrial subdivision projects across Western Australia.
Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake detailed civil design for land development projects including roads, drainage, earthworks, sewer, and water infrastructure.
• Use civil design software (e.g., 12D, AutoCAD, DRAINS) to prepare and review engineering drawings and documentation.
• Coordinate with internal design teams, local authorities, and clients to ensure design compliance and smooth project delivery.
• Support project engineers and senior staff with technical input across various project phases.
• Participate in design meetings and contribute innovative solutions to engineering challenges.
• Ensure designs are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.

About You:

• 3–5 years of post-graduate experience in civil design, with a focus on land development.
• Proficiency in civil engineering design software such as 12D, AutoCAD, and DRAINS.
• Strong understanding of local authority requirements, design standards, and approval processes in WA.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen interest in growing within a professional consultancy environment.
