We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to join a leading building services consultancy in Perth. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential, healthcare, and institutional projects across Western Australia.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and delivery of electrical systems for building services projects, including lighting, power, communications, and fire detection systems
• Oversee project documentation, design reports, specifications, and drawings to Australian standards and local regulations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical engineers, architects, project managers, and external stakeholders
• Mentor and support junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the team
• Attend client meetings, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure the successful execution of project deliverables
• Conduct site inspections, prepare technical assessments, and assist with commissioning support as required
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and sustainability best practices

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 6–8 years’ experience in electrical design within the building services sector
• Proficient with Australian Standards, NCC, and WA building codes
• Strong skills in software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and PowerCAD or similar
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and internal teams
• Chartered status (CPEng or working towards) and RPEQ desirable but not essential
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
