Job description
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Associate with a strong background in roads and highways design to join a high-performing and growing civil infrastructure design team based in Perth. This position is ideal for a technically competent and commercially minded leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality transport infrastructure projects across Western Australia and nationally.

- Lead and manage multi-disciplinary road and highway design projects from concept through to detailed design and delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams and junior staff.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Oversee the preparation of technical reports, drawings, and specifications in accordance with relevant standards (e.g., Austroads, MRWA).
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards.
- Support business development initiatives including proposals, bids, and client relationship management.
- Contribute to strategic planning and operational leadership within the transport infrastructure division.
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in roads and highways engineering, with a strong portfolio of projects across urban, regional or major infrastructure programs.
- Chartered Engineer status (CPEng) or working towards it.
- Proficient in relevant design software such as OpenRoads, MX, 12D, or Civil 3D.
- Strong understanding of Australian design standards including Austroads and local authority requirements (e.g., Main Roads WA).
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to manage technical teams and foster collaboration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including client engagement and stakeholder liaison.
