Civil Supervisor

A leading Perth-based civil construction company, renowned for delivering high-quality infrastructure projects throughout the metro are seeking a highly motivated Civil Site Supervisor to join their dynamic team. Their portfolio of large-scale subdivision projects includes a variety of civil construction packages including roadworks, drainage, earthworks, sewers and underground services.
 
Forming an essential part of their leadership team you will be managing a skilled team of workers while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Working closely with the Project Manager you will oversee, plan and coordinate the day-to-day activities on construction sites, ensuring that work is carried out to the highest standards on time.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate civil construction activities, ensuring the efficient and safe completion of projects.
  • Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure optimal productivity and quality of work.
  • Conduct daily site inspections, ensuring compliance with all safety standards and environmental regulations.
  • Monitor project progress, report on project status, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, quality inspections, and material deliveries.
  • Liaise with Project Managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Ensure that all work is carried out in line with project specifications, company standards, and relevant legislation.
Essential candidate criteria:
  • At least 3 years’ experience working as a Civil Supervisor on subdivision / land development projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of earthworks, drainage, underground services, pavement and road construction.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
  • High regard and compliance to all HSE policies and procedures.
  • Are comfortable with technology and able to use standard programs such as MS Project, Excel, Word.
  • Construction White Card.
  • Drivers Licence.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical.
  • Permanent Australian working rights.

  • $130,000 – $150,000 base salary (dependent on experience).
