Site Manager – Construction, Fit Out & Refurbs
 
The Client:
  • $80 T/O - commercial builder projects up to $10m
  • A lot of government works – including school infrastructures, community centres, libraries, sports centres, public amenities, chambers
  • 70% repeat business as main supplier on council panels
  • 30% new business
  • X30 live projects at the moment, a split between commercial and (social) housing and accommodation
  • Also have a building services division, projects up to $1m
Looking for a Site Manager to cover Sydney projects.

Salary can be discussed, we’re looking at circa $140k currently

The Position – Site Manager
  
  • Supervising construction workers and hiring subcontractors
  • Buying materials for each phase of the project
  • Monitoring build costs and project progress
  • Conducting quality and safety inspections
  • Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings
  • Maintaining quality control checks
  • Motivating the workforce
  • Day to day problem solving and dealing with any issues that arise
  • Using specialist project management computer programmes
  • Working on-site in all weathers, at clients’ businesses or in a site office

Skills and Experience
  
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience minimum as a Site Manager
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Australian working rights
