Job description

A prestigious Sydney builder requires a highly skilled Retail Fit-Out Specialist Site Manager for a 3-month project in Bodalla (4.5 hours' drive from Sydney ... 2.5 hours' drive from Canberra).

Accommodation will be provided for the 'right fit' candidate that will run project start to finish.

Supported by a Project Manager, Contract Administrator and skilled leading hand, the successful candidate will be charged with managing a $1.1M commercial retails build.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of projects, adhering to the client's specifications
  • Lead and supervise site teams, contractors, and subcontractors
  • Maintain a strong focus on health and safety standards, ensuring compliance at all times
  • Manage on-site logistics, ensuring smooth workflow and minimal disruptions
  • Ensure all work is completed within budget and on schedule
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and team members
Essential Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Site Manager, ideally with a background in retail fit-outs
  • Proven track record in managing retail construction projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills
