Project Engineer – Road Construction – Blue Mountains
Location: Blue Mountains, Sydney

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a major road construction project in the Blue Mountains. This is a 5-month contract role offering competitive daily rates, working with a principal delivery contractor on a key infrastructure project.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications and quality standards
• Managing subcontractors and suppliers to meet project deadlines
• Preparing and reviewing QA documentation, ITPs, and project reports
• Coordinating with site teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring safety and environmental compliance

Requirements:

• Previous experience in road construction projects
• Strong knowledge of QA, ITPs, and construction methodologies
• Experience working with principal contractors or tier 1/tier 2 environments
• Engineering degree (Civil or related discipline)
• Ability to start immediately
