Health & Safety Advisor – Civil Infrastructure
Location: Northern Sydney
Contract: 2–3 Month Temporary Contract
Start: ASAP
 
We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join the site team on a major pipeline infrastructure project based in Northern Sydney. This is a short-term contract role with an immediate start, supporting a principal contractor on a large-scale civil delivery.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and enforce WHS compliance across the site
• Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety inductions
• Provide safety support and advice to engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors
• Lead incident investigations and contribute to improvement initiatives
• Maintain safety documentation, risk assessments, and SWMS

Requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience in a Health & Safety Advisor role within civil infrastructure
• Demonstrated understanding of WHS legislation and best practices
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Cert IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety
• Experience on pipeline or utilities projects highly regarded
