CGC Recruitment are established experts in providing short term construction and engineering resources to main tier and mid-tier contractors and have been approached by a key client to source a E&I Project Engineer for an upcoming Shutdown in the Resorces sector. 
 
Working with a close knit established site team you will be responsible for the following duties:
 
• QA on E/I (E&I) engineering drawings and documents
• On-site material management and allocation
• Preparing workpacks
• Preparing  scope of work packs
• Shutdown work preparation
• Pre-commissioning preparation work
• Walkdowns
• Punchlist management
• Acting liaison between client and subcontractors
• Preparing ITRs and working with ITPs
 
The role is an immediate requirement and will initially involve initially working on a 9-day fortnight then will transfer on to the shutdown mid-May for the duration of the shutdown.
 
Selection criteria: 
 
- Electrical Engineering Degree
- 5+ years project experience 
- Oil & Gas Shutdown Experience
- Strong communication skills 
- Prior experience on PLC & Fibre Installation projects
