My client is a leading civil and construction contractor, providing services to government, mining, industrial and commercial sectors in construction, refurbishment and site remediation across Western Australia and remote areas including Esperance, Eastern Pilbara, Cocos Keeling Islands, Tiwi Islands as well as local projects including Fremantle harbour and Perth.


The Role

• Responsible for supervision and coordination of project scope, working directly with the client to oversee the day to date activities of the project
• Effective leadership of the construction team
• Achieving daily productivity targets and monitoring project costs
• Delivery of Daily Pre-starts, ensuring HSEQ standards are implemented, Ensuring Relevant Permits are in place, Daily Record Keeping and working with the team to deliver to the agreed programme
• Promoting teamwork between all crew members & working with them to overcome challenges

Skills Required

• 5+ years of supervision experience within the civil construction industry
• Section 26 Appointed Persons or Certificate IV in OHS – highly desirable
• Ideally BHP Inducted due to short turn around
• Excellent organisational skills with demonstrated ability to work within tight deadlines
• Able to complete and pass a thorough pre-employment medical and DAS
