Are you an experienced Contract Administrator with a strong background in managing AS4000 contracts? Our client, a growing and reputable small builder, is seeking a skilled and motivated Contract Administrator to join their team for an initial 12-week contract, with the potential for extension.
About the Role:
You will play a key role in the administration and management of contracts for a variety of construction projects, particularly in remedial and refurbishment works. Your main responsibilities will include overseeing contract compliance, managing variations, processing claims, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer AS4000 contracts from project initiation through to completion.
- Manage contract variations, claims, and dispute resolution.
- Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Monitor project progress, costs, and timelines to ensure adherence to the contract.
- Assist with procurement, cost control, and reporting on project budgets.
- Review and manage subcontracts and procurement schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of contract documents and communication.
- Proven experience as a Contract Administrator, with a focus on AS4000 contracts.
- Experience in managing construction projects valued at $10m+.
- Strong contract management skills, including knowledge of contract law, variations, and claims.
- Previous experience working on remedial and refurbishment building projects.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure.
