Project Manager

A national remediation and demolition contractor are searching for an experienced Project Manager to join their rapidly growing WA business unit. The company specialises in large scale decommissioning, demolition and remediation projects throughout Australia. Due to ongoing success and growth in the region they are now in the process of building a permanent Perth based team. Key to this growth is the appointment of a strong Project Manager to be based in the Perth metro area.
  
The ideal candidate will be from a main contracting background, ideally having previously worked on demolition, remediation, decommissioning or civil construction projects. You will have at least 5 years’ experience working as a Project Manager or Project Engineer. Our client is particularly keen to speak to candidates with strong stakeholder / client management skills and a strong commercial acumen.
  
Criteria:

• Ability to travel to site / work away when required on an ad hoc basis
• Tertiary Qualifications in Civil Engineering, Project Manager or similar
• Project experience working on civil, demolition, remediation or decommissioning projects.
• Experience managing budgets, pricing work / tendering, processing claims and variations.
• At least 5 years Australian main contractor experience.
• Strong stakeholder management, commercial acumen and leadership skills.
• Full Australian working rights.
