CGC Recruitment are established experts in providing short term construction and engineering resources to main tier and mid-tier contractors and have again been approached by one of our clients to source an experienced Project Planner/Scheduler to join a newly awarded maintenance project in the New Year.

Key responsibilities include:
- Provide concise information and advice relating to scheduling and project management support
- Use Primavera to optimise schedules to minimise risk and maximise value to reflect the shutdown priorities and business objectives
- Develop and update the shutdown and major maintenance schedules in accordance with the project requirements
- Develop, maintain & review scheduling of documentation and identify risks and/or key issues to be considered
- Liaise with clients to obtain information for scheduling and project management support
- Assist with the set-up and management of the project costs, budgets, claims and forecasts
- Capture, review and manage construction progress within the Earned Value Database and systems
- Experience in the Power Generation industry
- Highly proficient user of P6 (essential)
- Exposure to all facets of maintenance, planning, and scheduling activities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong time management skills and demonstrable experience achieving tight deadlines
- Proven track record of maintaining a safe working environment
- Proof of right to work in Australia
