We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our client who are a growing group of contracting businesses. The business is undergoing a period of growth and is now approaching ten years trading history. Based from offices in West Perth the company delivers a range of construction services including concrete, drainage, earthworks, ITS and substations for a range of clients including tier 1/2 main contractors and government agencies. Typical projects range up to $30m in value.

Based from offices in West Perth the company delivers a range of construction services including concrete, drainage, earthworks, ITS and substations for a range of clients including tier 1/2 main contractors and government agencies. Typical projects range up to $30m in value.
Duties:
- Responsible for providing generalist HR support.
- Provide advice on HR policies and procedures, as well as support change and restructuring initiatives.
- You will also be responsible for managing employee relations and providing guidance on performance management issues.
- Responsible for managing data on the HRIS systems.
- Be responsible for generating HR reports for clients and stakeholders as required.
- Support the recruitment process and hiring managers when required.
Candidate Criteria:
- Degree qualified in Human Resources.
- At least 5+ years HR generalist experience.
- Experience in interpreting Australian employment law, WH&S; and other government legislation.
- Strategic business knowledge and understanding.
- Ability to influence, communicate, consult, and negotiate with staff at all levels, and with external agencies, service providers and customers.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy and to exercise tact and discretion.
- Ability to interpret and advise on awards, legislation and regulations.
- Intermediate level computing skills including Microsoft office suite;
- Knowledge of HRIS systems
- Experience in Mining / Construction / Engineering / EPC (preferred).
- Full Australian working rights.
