The Client
An up-and-coming Fire Protection contractor who have carved out their own path in the market over the last few years.
Currently undertaking a lot of work on Healthcare, Warehouse, Cold Storage and NDIS projects, they need an Estimator to join their team.
The Role
The role will cover Estimating for wet & dry fire projects up to a value of around $1m.
Candidates must have good knowledge of all fire systems, the ability to estimate and produce tender documents.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for Wet and Dry Fire Systems, including materials, labor, and equipment.
- Review project plans, specifications, and tender documents to ensure accurate quoting.
- Conduct site visits as required to gather project-specific information.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
- Ensure all designs and proposals comply with Australian Standards and local regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to refine estimates and scope.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, standards, and pricing.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in estimating within the fire protection industry, with a focus on Wet and Dry Fire Systems.
- Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and compliance requirements for fire systems.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- A proactive approach and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
