Well-known Sydney based builder requires an immediate contract site manager for a challenging $3.5M educational new build project near Port Macquarie (Mid North Coast of NSW).

With more projects to follow on the Mid North Coast, this Temp to Perm opportunity will provide the platform for a local site manager to join a construction firm renowned for its strong leadership and positive culture.
  
Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Site Manager with a head contractor
• Relevant qualifications in Construction Management or related field
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in educational projects, highly desirable
• Comfortable and confident in both structures and fit out
• Trade background (e.g., carpentry, electrical, plumbing) highly desirable

 
Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the entire build, ensuring it is executed within budget, timeline, and to the client's specifications
• Coordinate with various stakeholders including architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor progress and quality of work on-site, conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues or delays promptly.
• Manage and motivate a team of workers, providing guidance, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and industry standards
