We are looking for an experienced leading hand with a joinery background to join our client's team. They are a well-established joinery company who work on high quality refurbishments and fit out projects in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Tasmania. 

As a Leading Hand, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating commercial projects. You will work closely with the site supervisor and project manager to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality.

Role:

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures.
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship and ensure quality control.
• Assist with scheduling, material ordering, and equipment management.
• Running joinery teams on site to meet expected standard of work.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Leading Hand or similar supervisory role in commercial construction.
• Strong understanding of commercial building processes, techniques, and safety requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Valid driver’s license and white card (or equivalent).

What We Offer:

• Temp to perm role
• $55 - $65 per hour on a temp basis and then will go to wages.
• Payment Via PTY / PAYG
