CGC Recruitment are working with a long-standing client who are a leading Tier 2 National Civil Contractor who specialize in complex Road Construction projects across the Eastern Seaboard.
 
Working with a local JV partner they have recently secured a 2-year program to deliver disaster recovery works in the Far North QLD region. As of such they are actively recruiting both a Site & Project Engineer to join an established site team on a full-time basis. Responsibilities will include preparing, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects. In addition to this you will perform quality control (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status.    
 
As of the skill shortage in QLD we are reaching out to Southern States to attract Site and Project Engineers who are looking to escape the pending cold of the Melbourne winter and come and work in Sunny North QLD on 2 year working holiday!
 
Selection Criteria:
 
- 2 years + post graduate experience 
- Road Construction Experience Essential 
- Physically and mentally robust to work in remote environments
- Main Tier Contacting Experience
- Open to relocating to Cairns
