Job description

This is a dynamic and growing boutique client-side construction consultancy led by two highly experienced Directors passionate about providing personal guidance, mentoring, and professional development. Specialising in Education, Residential, Hospitality, and Civil Construction projects, they seek both a Project Manager and an Assistant Project Manager to join the team.

Project Manager - $110,000 - $140,000 
Assistant Project Manager - $80,000 - $100,000

You will be specifically working on the following projects – 17-story mixed use residential, and the development of a school (construction stage). The need for additional Project Managers is due to an increase in their project pipeline.

 Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Act as the key liaison between clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic advice and project reporting to clients.
  • Oversee risk management, procurement, and contract administration.
  • Drive project outcomes through effective leadership and problem-solving.
  • Support Project Managers in the delivery of projects (APM)
  • Assist in stakeholder coordination, project documentation, and reporting.
  • Participate in risk assessments, procurement processes, and contract administration.
  • Gain hands-on experience and training to develop into a Project Manager role.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and to client expectations.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Project Manager: Minimum 5 years experience in client-side project management or a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Assistant Project Manager: 1–3 years experience in construction project management, consultancy, or a related field.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality outcomes.
