The Company
  • Over 2 decades of experience in NSW and QLD specialising in hospitality, educational and commercial projects valued to $30M.
  • Current team of  150 staff nationally with a turnover over approx. $200M.  
  • They hold a strong financial position and will be busy for the well for the remainder of the year
  • Subbies paid on time and project stakeholders that work in a collaborative, professional environment
The Position
  • You will deliver either a new build educational facility (20M) of a heavy refurbishment hospitality facility (30M)
  • Reporting into the Construction Manager that comes from a strong mid tier background you will use your strong stakeholder and project management skills to lead and coordinate of all participants on the project
  • This will include ensuring expectations are understood and agreed, program and design developed then closely monitored and key milestones met and delivered.
  • Furthermore, you will monitor subbie and supplier performance and ensure financial targets are achieved.
You will run 1 projects in construction and one at tender stages.
  
Salary will be in line with experience and market conditions however figures of $220K - $250K can be expected.

About you
  • A completed Construction Management or related construction degree
  • Experience as a Project manager within the  mid-tier market
  • Experience working in the Sydney construction market
  • Commercial construction background and good relationships with local subbies and consultants  
  • Working knowledge of the IT systems used through the industry, ie: Procore, Buildsoft, Buildtools or Cheops / Jobpac
