Project Engineer - Demolition, decommissioning & remediation
  
Our client is a national leader in demolition, decommissioning and remediation projects. They have recently won a major project in WA’s Pilbara region which is currently valued in excess of $100m with the potential to grow with future scopes. As a result, they are actively recruiting Project Engineers to deliver the project on a 2:2 FIFO roster from Perth. This opportunity provides the successful candidates continuity of work with an initial project duration of 2 years and future scopes in the pipeline which could extend our clients presence on the site well into the future.
  
The project involves a range of scopes including the removal of hardstands and concrete structures, site rehabilitation, removal of transmission and powerlines, remediation works, and asbestos removal. They are keen to speak to Civil Engineers with a minimum of 5 years project engineering experience, with exposure to demolition, decommission and remediation projects in line with the project scopes.

Duties:
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, regulations, and quality standards.
  • Coordination and Communication: Act as a liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution within set timelines and budgets.
  • Site Work: Conduct site assessments, surveys, and inspections to support project planning, risk management, and execution.
  • Documentation: Prepare project proposals, technical reports, and other required documentation.
  • HSE Standards: Maintain robust health, safety, and environmental practices throughout the project lifecycle.
  
Criteria:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or a related field).
  • Experience working as a Project Engineer on demolition, decommission and remediation projects, preferably in remote or FIFO environments.
  • Strong understanding of HSE standards, project management software, and engineering principles.
  • Solid understanding of engineering principles and the ability to read technical drawings.
  • Effective communication with teams, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Construction white card.
  • Must be located within commuting range of Perth Airport for flights.
  • MUST HAVE FULL AUSTRALIAN WORKING RIGHTS
