Our client is a national contractor, and one of the biggest in the QLD market. They specialise in commercial and industrial HVAC solutions and have been in the market for over 30 years. 

Due to taking on extra work, they are looking to add two HVAC technicians to the team.

Positions Available:

• 1 x Service HVAC Technician
• 1 x Install HVAC Technician

Key Responsibilities: For the Service Technician:

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning, heating units, and ventilation systems.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and system check-ups to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide technical support to clients, offering expert advice on system operations and energy efficiency.
• Respond promptly to service calls and manage a range of service-related tasks across residential and commercial properties.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.

For the Install Technician:

• Install, commission, and test HVAC systems for both new builds and retrofit projects.
• Ensure systems are installed to industry standards, local codes, and customer specifications.
• Work with a team to handle large and small installation projects in commercial and industrial settings.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Key Requirements:

• Service Technician:
  
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Install Technician:
  
  • Proficient in installing various HVAC systems, including split systems, ducted systems, and ventilation systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality installation.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
