CGC Recruitment are working in collaboration with a well established, national commercial building head contractor who specialise in construction, refurbishment and fit out projects across Australia.
Having recently picked up a large new project in Perth CBD and with several other projects in the pipeline, they are seeking an experienced Document Controller / Project Administrator to join their small but expanding Perth based team.

Key responsibilities include;
- Establish and maintain an organised system for managing project documents, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with company standards.
- Receive, review, and process incoming project documentation, ensuring proper formatting and completeness.
- Maintain an updated document control database, ensuring accessibility and security of sensitive information.
- Conduct regular audits of document control procedures and implement improvements as needed.
- Assist project managers with administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking meeting minutes.
- Coordinate project schedules, track milestones, and monitor project timelines to ensure adherence to deadlines.
- Support project budget management by tracking expenses, processing invoices, and assisting with financial reporting.
- Prior experience working within a commercial building contractor in Australia.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in document control, project administration, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in document management systems and project management software.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in document control and project administration.
