Job description
CGC Recruitment is working with an existing client to recruit an experienced Construction Manager to join the business on a full-time basis. This specialist contractor have a unique position in the market with a secure order book of projects in NSW for the next 2 years. They deliver complex infrastructure projects for the Rail, Utility, Tunnels, Road, and Renewable sectors throughout the world.
Having recently secured a Pipeline project (Sydney Water) that is valued at $200m, they have identified the need for a Construction Manager. The role will involve leading a team of construction & engineering professionals to deliver a complex scope of works which includes; pipeline construction, sub contractor manager and complex excavation.
The position will involve being responsible for the development and control of budgets, reporting of project progress, technical and delivery strategies, risk, project schedules, deliverables, and commercial and procurement arrangements.
The role is long-term permanent and suited to career-driven individuals who prefer the full autonomy that comes with working in a subcontractor environment. We are looking to speak with Construction professionals who possess the following experience:
- Minimum 10 Years in the Construction Industry
- Structure experience is preferred
- Must have worked for a Tier 1 or large Tier 2 Contractor.
- Strong Leadership skills
- Clear confident communicator
- Stability in their CV (not a job hopper!)
