Job description
- Use CUBIC, Estimate One and Costx
- Work in a team environment alongside a senior estimator who will provide mentorship
- Happy to chat with junior to intermediate level candidates
- 4 decades of experience in NSW, currently turning over $200M locally.
- Large portfolio of successfully delivered projects within aged care, educational, health and the government sectors valued from $30M – $70M with an average project range of $35M – $45M

- Reporting into a head of estimating and working in a team environment alongside the senior estimator you will be responsible for pricing work valued to $70M
- open to chatting with candidates are a junior to intermediate level
- Sectors include health, education, aged care and commercial projects
- You will need to have experience working on tenders in excess of 15M from start to finish in one of the mentioned sectors.
- Bills are externally created using a Q.S however you will be responsible for rating them.
- You will use CUBIT, estimate one and Cost X
Background / Experience
- Quantity Surveying or Construction Estimating background with related degree
- 5 yrs + post graduate experience Estimating with a commercial builder ideally in the tier 2 market
- Must have a good understanding of the local market and understand how to price commercial projects
- Have a naturally analytical mind and ability to work with numbers
- Knowledge and relationships with local trade base is highly advantageous
