CGC are working with an established Tier 1 Contractor who are involved in a game changing renewable energy project in regional QLD. This project is first of its kind and an important step in the move towards a more sustainable energy future.
 
Due to an increase in workload the project project team have identified a critical need for a Quantity Surveyor to join the team on a full time basis.  Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager this site based role will mainly involve will be putting together procurement packages to subcontractor but will also involve sub-contract management, contract negotiation and assessing progress claims and variations. 
 
The project will be Brisbane based but will involve frequent site travel to cater for project demands so will suit driven young QS professionals so like to get exposure to the practical elements of construction. The project is as complex as it gets and will offer the opportunity to gain exposure to a first of its kind project, leading the way for a more sustainable energy future. The role will also be working within an established construction team and will offer the right candidate an opportunity to work in an environment that offers, proper mentorship and progression to be a leader in commercial construction. 
 
Selection Criteria:
 
- Degree Qualified QS 
- Civil Contracting Experience 
- Driven and motivated 
- Happy to work in remote environments 
- Excellent communicator
