Project Manager - Civil and Remediation

CGC Recruitment are in partnership with a leading environmentally focussed Australian main contractor who are currently undergoing a period of sustained growth. The business specialises in civil construction and remediation projects work heavily in the defence, mining and resources sectors nationwide. Typical projects are valued in the range of $10m - $100m and include bulk / detailed earthworks, piling, civil infrastructure, soil remediation etc.
 
They are now actively seeking a Project Manager to lead a $40m bulk earthworks project in Port Hedland. They are keen to speak to candidates with past experience working on BHP projects and a proven track record cultivating client relationships. This is a site-based opportunity working on a 9:5 FIFO roster with 20% site uplift.

Candidate Criteria:
 

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental engineering.
• 8+ years of civil construction or remediation experience.
• Heavy civil construction experience (bulk earthworks).
• BHP experience (desirable).
• Experience managing projects valued over $10m.
• Contract and budget management experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office & Project
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, design standards, and construction techniques.
• Ability to work FIFO rosters.
• Valid driver's license.
• MUST HAVE FULL AUSTRALIAN WORKING RIGHTS
• MUST HAVE AUSTRALIAN MAIN CONTRACTOR EXPERIENCE
