A well established fit out contractor who are well established in VIC and NSW are growing their QLD team. They are known for delivering fitout and refurb projects to the highest level.

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Site Manager to join our growing team in QLD. The successful candidate will be responsible for the successful delivery of a diverse range of fit-out projects, primarily within the commercial sector. Projects will range in value from $1M to $7M.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Proactively identify and resolve any potential site issues or challenges.
  • Manage site safety, ensuring compliance with all relevant WHS regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date site documentation, including daily reports, progress reports, and method statements.
  • Supervise and mentor site teams, including subcontractors and labourers.
  • Manage site logistics and procurement activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the construction team.
Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within the commercial fit-out sector, with a strong track record of delivering projects from $1M to $7M.
  • Previous experience with a well known fit out contractor
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise
  • A strong commitment to safety and quality.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
