Senior Project Manager - Shape the Future of the Gold Coast

We're currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a significant $140M social housing apartment project at the northern end of the Gold Coast.

About the Role:
This pivotal role will see you take full ownership of this exciting project, from pre-construction through to completion. You will be responsible for:

• Leadership & Management: Leading and mentoring a high-performing project team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
• Project Delivery: Overseeing all aspects of the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicating and building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, government agencies, and the local community.
• Contract Administration: Managing contracts, variations, and claims, ensuring compliance and minimising risk.
• Financial Management: Monitoring project financials, forecasting costs, and ensuring project profitability.
• Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating potential project risks, proactively implementing solutions.
• Quality Assurance: Implementing and enforcing quality control processes to ensure the delivery of a superior product.
• Safety Leadership: Championing a strong safety culture on site, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and promoting a safe working environment.

About You:

• Extensive experience as a Senior Project Manager, with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale residential or similar construction projects (preferably over $100M).
• Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects. Apartment developments, is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
• Excellent financial management and contract administration skills.
• A thorough understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations.
• A relevant tertiary qualification in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• A proactive and solution-oriented approach, with a strong focus on achieving project objectives.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality projects and exceeding client expectations.
• Experience working with government agencies and navigating regulatory approvals is advantageous.
