CGC Recruitment are established experts in providing short term construction and engineering resources to main tier and mid-tier contractors and have been approached by an new client to source a Planning professional to work on a sub consulting basis. 
 
The role will report to the Project Controls Manager and involve providing on-demand consulting support in the bids & tenders team and involve developing a tender program for the following projects:

• Design and construct/construct only
• Substation construction (greenfield)
• Substation modification (equipment replacement) or extension (new bench, bays, etc)
• Transmission line cut-in for new substations
• Transmission line construction
• Transmission line modification/OPGW replacement
• Project value $5-50M

The tender program potentially includes sections for contract milestones, project management, design, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning and contingencies. The programs will be required in MS Project or P6 dependent on client demands. 
 
Contract duration will be 4-6 weeks so we are looking for experienced Planning professionals who can take a scope of works and run with it, working independently with minimal supervision.  
 
Selection Criteria:
 
- Minimum 5 years Planning experience
- Prior experience with HV Electrical projects 
- Proficient in P6 and MS project 
- Ability to work autonomously
