Job description
Senior Electrical Engineer required to provide electrical engineering expertise, specifically in support of pre-commissioning and commissioning phase activities on Waitsia Gas Project located approximately 350km north of Perth in Dongara.

The Role
- Oversee the pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up and performance testing of the designed electrical system for Waitsia which includes gas engine driven generation, Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), HV and LV distribution systems and associated end systems and devices.
- Support commissioning in resolving issues as and when necessary, in conjunction with the lead electrical design engineer.
- Supervise and oversee the work of site based electrical engineers.
- Address engineering related discrepancies, issues with design, etc. supporting commissioning activities on site.
Skills & Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years proven experience working on major projects (Commissioning) in the Oil & Gas industry
- Bachelor Degree Engineering (Electrical, Instrumentation or related field)
- Able to remain calm under pressure and to lead by example
- Excellent communication skills liaising across project stakeholders
