This highly respected builder has been operating for nearly 40 years and operate in the new build and fitout and refurb sectors.

About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and meticulous Contract Administrator to join our team on a significant $100M refurbishment project in the heart of Brisbane's CBD. This critical role will involve managing all contractual aspects of the project, ensuring compliance, and mitigating potential risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze all construction contracts, subcontracts, and variations.
  • Prepare and issue contract notices, correspondence, and instructions.
  • Monitor and track contract performance, including progress payments, variations, and claims.
  • Manage contractual disputes and claims effectively and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and relevant legislation.
  • Provide support to the Project Manager and other team members on all contractual matters.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records and documentation.
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a Contract Administrator in the construction industry.
  • Previous experience with a Tier 2 or Tier 1 builder
  • Experience on projects of $50M plus
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, subcontracts, and contract law.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with subcontractors and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in delivering projects in the Brisbane CBD would be of interest but not essential
  • Experience with sustainable construction practices and green building standards.
  • Qualifications in construction management or a related field.
  • Experience on projects of this scale
