Position: Quality Engineer
Location: Newcastle, NSW
Duration: Temporary (Until the New Year)
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our clients team on a road infrastructure project in Newcastle. This is a temporary position with an immediate start, running until the New Year. You'll be working with a leading principal contractor on a high-profile project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all work meets the required quality standards and specifications
• Monitor and report on construction activities to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Conduct quality inspections and audits on materials and workmanship
• Prepare and maintain accurate quality documentation
• Collaborate closely with the site team and subcontractors to ensure continuous quality improvement

Requirements:

• Proven experience in quality control/assurance on civil engineering or road infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of Australian construction standards and regulations
• Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
