Job description

We have a requirement for a skilled QA Engineer with a strong background working on MRWA projects on a short term contract. The project is based in Wongan Hills - 180km north of Perth on a (DIDO) 10:4 roster.

The Role

Conducting thorough inspections and audits to ensure work aligns with industry standards and project specifications
Implementing quality assurance protocols and coordinating with project managers to identify and rectify non-compliance issues
Collaborating closely with engineering and site teams to maintain safety, quality, and environmental standards
Documenting QA processes, preparing detailed reports, and maintaining quality records
Identifying and recommending process improvements to support project efficiency and quality

Skills Required

5 + Years proven experience in quality assurance within the transport, civil, or construction projects (MRWA Standards & Specifications)
Strong understanding of shoulder widening, pavement construction, bituminous surfacing and asphalting processes and techniques
Excellent organisational skills with demonstrated ability to work within tight deadlines
Hold relevant Engineering Qualifications – either Diploma or Degree
