Project Manager – Hotel / Hospitality Sector
 
The Company
 
  • Leading contractor for all the main hotel brands
  • Specialise in construction, refurb and fit out, from simple refreshes to complete overhauls, combine design, technical and project management
  • Looking for a qualified PM with fit out and construction experience
  • First project will be a $35m SYD CBD hotel conversion
 
The Position – Project Manager
 
  • Experience delivering construction, refurb and fit out projects up to $100m
  • Agree timescales, costs and resources needed to deliver a project
  • Draw up a detailed plan for how to achieve each stage of a project
  • Select and lead a project team
  • Negotiate with contractors and suppliers
  • Direct a multi-disciplinary team
  • Communicate with staff at every level, in a calm, personable way
  • Ensure that each stage of the project happens on time, on budget and to a high standard
  • Resolve any issues or delays
  • Demonstrate knowledge of all areas of construction
 
Skills and Experience
 
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Project Manager
  • Relevant qualifications in Construction Management or related field
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Australian working rights
