Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: Circa $200k + super

A Tier 3 contractor specialising in commercial construction, fit out and refurbs across healthcare, territory and commercial projects in Sydney. Project values range from $250k – $10m, sweet spot $2m.
$15m turnover business.

Role Overview:

Due to company restructure we are seeking a Project Manager and Senior Project Manager to join our operational team.

The successful candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of commercial fit-out projects from inception to completion, ensuring all projects meet client specifications, safety standards, and are delivered within the agreed timeframe and budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage multiple fit-out projects from concept to completion.
  • Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, resources, and risk management strategies.
  • Coordinate and liaise with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to quality standards and deadlines.
  • Manage budgets and project resources effectively, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Lead site meetings, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Resolve any issues or delays efficiently, maintaining excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ensure all project documentation is maintained accurately and up to date.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive working environment with all teams involved in the project.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in commercial fit-out, refurbishment, or related construction projects.
  • Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of the fit-out process, including design, construction, and building services.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and deliverables effectively.
