Our client is an award-winning Project Management consultancy, renowned for excellence and innovation in the construction industry across two states. They deliver high-quality new build projects in diverse sectors including Hospitality (hotels), Industrial, Aged Care, and Retirement Living for top-tier clients. This is a growing, reputable, and successful consultancy seeking a confident and motivated Project Manager to join their Sydney team immediately.
Role Overview: Be able to work autonomously on the delivery lifecycle stage of construction projects in the above-mentioned sectors. You will ensure that projects run smoothly during the construction stage by liaising with consultants, engineers, contractors, and clients/stakeholders. You will be part of a team with senior guidance and given the ability to develop your Project Management skillset within this consultancy. This role is suitable for a candidate with a proven track record in successfully delivering projects from construction to handover of the highest caliber.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver projects autonomously, from initial construction to final handover
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
- Monitor project progress and implement necessary adjustments to keep projects on track
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance processes
- Be able to solve problems by offering performance solutions that would benefit the outcome of the project to our clients
- Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management and clients
- Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members to promote a collaborative project environment
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or similar.
- 3 years experience as a client-side Project Manager with a completed project portfolio delivering Hotels, Seniors Living, or Industrial construction projects.
- The ability to work and coordinate a project, or multiple projects autonomously
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies & general construction.
- Excellent leadership, communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions under pressure
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Head Contractor experience is highly desirable
