Our client is a design-focused boutique builder with offices in Sydney and Brisbane, recognized for investing time in early project stages to drive efficiencies and successful outcomes for their clients. Specializing in commercial, industrial, and heritage projects, they’ve built a strong reputation for quality new builds, refurbishments, and fitouts.

The Position
As the Project Lead reporting to the State Manager, you’ll manage a full site team, oversee procurement, coordinate design, and ensure seamless project delivery. You’ll engage with clients, consultants, designers, and internal teams, while also mentoring the next generation of construction professionals.
Skills & Experience
- Autonomous project delivery from pre-construction through handover
- Team leadership, mentoring, and performance management
- Stakeholder management with a client-focused approach
- In-depth understanding of building methodologies and industry standards
- Proficiency with MS Project for scheduling
- Knowledge of QHSE Act and Legislation, and quality management practices
- Monthly reporting, progress claims, and variation management
- Expertise with AS Form of Contracts and negotiation skills
- Tertiary qualification in construction/project management or civil engineering
- Proven experience delivering projects valued from $5M to $15M
- Strong commercial awareness, relationship-building, and negotiating skills
The salary will align with experience and market trends, with an expected range of $200K–$240K.
