Project Engineer
 
We are recruiting Project Engineers to a family-owned civil construction company who have recently experienced tender success winning multiple civil construction projects in the Pilbara region. The business has over 30 years of trading history and is well established throughout the Pilbara region, providing job security and continuity of work for their staff.
 
As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our clients’ civil infrastructure projects which include road construction, earthworks and a range of other civils scopes. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing aspects of project planning, execution, and completion.
 
Our client can accommodate candidates interested in FIFO work on a 2:1 roster from Perth or candidates interested in residential work based out of Karratha.
 
Duties:
 
  • Project planning, design, and execution.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Daily/weekly planning, progress and productivity reporting and site records
  • Field engineering assistance
  • QA preparation, ITP sign off, NRC’s and quality documentation
  • Review project schedules to ensure delivery times are met and communicate with key stakeholders on progress
  • Develop and maintain project budgets.
  • Monitor project progress and implement necessary adjustments to meet milestones.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, subcontractors, and clients to achieve project objectives.
  • Prepare detailed reports, proposals, and documentation.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
 
Candidate Criteria:
 
  • At least 5 years’ experience working for a main contractor with a focus on civil infrastructure projects.
  • Experience working on construction projects involving earthworks, roadworks, drainage and civil infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, design standards, and construction techniques.
  • Experience in cost control.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Construction.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • MUST HAVE FULL AUSTRALIAN WORKING RIGHTS
