We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our clients structures team on a large road project in Parkes, NSW. This is a 6-month temporary contract with an immediate start, offering a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading civil infrastructure contractor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the structural aspects of the road project, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards.
- Collaborate with the site team to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Ensure all works comply with relevant safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Provide technical advice and solutions to any challenges that arise on site.
- Prepare and review project documentation, including progress reports, ITPs, and QA/QC procedures.
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience working as a Project Engineer on large civil infrastructure projects, specifically in structures.
- Strong understanding of Australian construction standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to work in Parkes, NSW.
