Preconstruction Manager

  • Specialise in bespoke fit outs – Hospitality, entertainment, leisure, commercial, hostel, workplace
  • Predominately commercial fit outs however they are starting to move into new build construction

  The Role:
  • Responsible for managing and coordinating tenders to ensure all aspects of the project are thoroughly prepared before works begin on site
  • Assess project feasibility and provide early-stage cost estimates
  • Develop preconstruction schedules, identifying key project milestones
  • Coordinate feasibility studies and risk assessments
  • Analyse construction costs, materials and labour requirements
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers and consultants to refine project design
  • Implement value engineering strategies
  • Develop bid packages
  • Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Facilitate a smooth handover to the construction team
What you'll need to be successful in the role:  
  • Will ideally suit someone from a delivery background looking to implement their skillset in preconstruction
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Australian working rights
