About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Associate Architect with High-Rise Residential experience to join my client, an Architectural Sydney-based studio. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving design excellence, managing high-profile projects, and contributing to the firm’s continued success. The ideal candidate will bring team management experience, technical expertise, and a passion for high-rise residential developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and delivery of high-rise residential projects from concept to completion.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with consultants and stakeholders.
- Provide strategic direction, ensuring projects align with the firm’s vision and objectives.
- Oversee project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with local planning regulations, Australian building codes, and sustainability standards.
- Mentor and support junior designers and architects, fostering professional growth within the studio.
- 10+ years of experience in architecture, with a strong focus on high-rise residential projects.
- Registered Architect in NSW (preferred).
- Revit proficiency.
- Proven leadership experience, managing multidisciplinary teams and complex projects.
- Strong design sensibility with a track record of delivering high-quality residential developments.
- Expertise in Australian planning regulations, BCA, and construction methodologies.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
