We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with experience in water treatment plants to join a project team upgrading critical water infrastructure across Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity to work on projects involving pump stations, pipelines, and treatment plants as part of a broader network enhancement.

About the Role:
As a Site Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering this essential project, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You’ll collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage on-site activities for pump stations, pipelines, and treatment plant upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with Sydney Water specifications, codes, and regulations.
• Review technical designs and drawings to ensure proper implementation.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
• Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and manage quality control.
• Provide technical support and resolve site-based issues as they arise.

Requirements:

• Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Proven experience in water infrastructure projects, particularly with pump stations, pipelines, or treatment plants.
• Familiarity with Sydney Water standards and specifications.
• Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental protocols on construction projects.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
