Are you a talented Mechanical Engineer with a background in water infrastructure? Join our clients team for a 3-month contract working on an exciting network upgrade project in Western Sydney!

About the Role

We are seeking a Project Engineer to support key upgrades across pump stations, pipelines, and water treatment plants. Based in Parramatta, this role will involve hands-on project management and technical oversight of critical water infrastructure works within the Sydney Water network.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee mechanical works for water infrastructure projects, including pump stations, pipelines, and treatment plants.
• Liaise with contractors, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met.
• Ensure compliance with Sydney Water standards and other regulatory requirements.
• Prepare project reports, schedules, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate and resolve any site or design issues during project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience in water infrastructure projects (Sydney Water experience highly regarded).
• Strong understanding of pump stations, pipelines, and treatment plant operations.
• Ability to work autonomously and deliver results within tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
