Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Team Lead to join our client’s high-performing team. The ideal candidate will possess a wealth of experience in Building Services, coupled with exceptional leadership and management abilities. This role is pivotal in driving the success of the consultancy’s projects and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and sustainable designs.
  
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Management:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team of mechanical and electrical engineers.
• Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve project goals and objectives.
• Oversee resource allocation, ensuring optimal team performance and project delivery.

Design & Project Management:

• Lead the design and delivery of mechanical and electrical services for a variety of building projects.
• Ensure designs are compliant with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and client expectations.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure integrated and cohesive project delivery.

Client Engagement:

• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact.
• Understand client needs and provide innovative solutions to meet their requirements.
• Represent the consultancy in client meetings, presentations, and industry events.

Technical Excellence:

• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
• Ensure the highest standards of technical quality and accuracy in all project deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members.

  
Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Building Services engineering.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering successful projects.
• Extensive design experience in mechanical or electrical building services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in relevant design software and tools.
