Job Title: Junior Engineer – Road Infrastructure Project
Location: Blue Mountains, Sydney
Duration: 6-month contract (Project-based)

About:
We are working with a leading civil contractor specializing in large-scale infrastructure projects across New South Wales. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Engineer to join our clients team on a major road infrastructure project in the Blue Mountains. This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior professional to gain hands-on experience on a high-profile project and work alongside industry experts.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of road construction activities.
• Support the Senior Engineers with day-to-day site management, ensuring the project meets quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Perform site inspections and liaise with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assist with the preparation of project documentation, reports, and drawings.
• Monitor project progress and provide updates to the project team.
• Contribute to ensuring work is completed on schedule and within budget.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Previous internship or site experience (preferred but not essential).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project demands.
• Basic knowledge of road construction processes and standards is advantageous.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
