The Position
  
You will be joining a $150M upgrade to an educational facility that includes a heavy refurbishment component. The ideal applicant will have worked on tier one projects in live environments and be accustomed to dealing with tier one subbies.
  
As the Foreman you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities on site ensuring that programme and work scheduling is maintained. Working cohesively with the Site Manager and team you will ensure the works are carried out in a safe manner, are to specification and is handed over with a high-quality finish.
  
Salary will be in the region of 190K – 200K depending on experience

Background / Experience
  • Trade qualification in carpentry, building qualification advantageous
  • Demonstrated experience delivering projects in tier one environment ideally working across finishes
  • Ability to build rapport with sub-contractors and manage personnel to operate cohesively within a team environment
  • Strong buildability, planning & scheduling skills
  • Extensive knowledge of building trades, and how to push projects
  • Ability to keep on top of safety & company system management systems
  • Experience on commercial, health, education projects within occupied premises   - valued over $100M
  • Above average computer literacy, this builder uses electronic on-site management tools
