Job description

Join a leading Tier One Civil Contractor and play a key role in supporting their finance team. They are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Finance Administrator experienced in Project Accounting to assist with financial processes, project reconciliation, and administrative support. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced construction environment.

This is a 3 month contract based in Perth CBD.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process month-end entries, including journals and accruals.
  • Manage monthly billing and ensure accuracy.
  • Reconcile project variations to maintain financial integrity.
  • Maintain accurate financial records between site and finance teams.
  • Assist with general timesheet queries.
  • Ensure correct cost allocations across projects.
  • Handle site requests and finance-related queries.
  • Provide general finance administration and assist with ad hoc tasks as required.
Skills & Experience:
  • Proficiency in MS Excel with strong data management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with various stakeholders.
  • Strong data entry and reconciliation skills with high attention to detail.
  • Highly organised with excellent time management abilities.
  • Previous experience in a finance administration role within a construction or contracting environment is advantageous.
  • Experience using SAP is essential.
