As their business continues to grow year on year, they are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Estimator to join their dynamic team due to an internal promotion. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare detailed cost breakdowns for materials, and other expenses.
• Collaborate with the sales and project management teams to develop competitive bids and proposals.
• Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and ensure accurate cost estimates.
• Monitor and analyze project costs against estimates and adjust future estimates as needed.
• Assist in value engineering and alternative material selections to provide cost-effective solutions for clients.

About You:

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction and/or building materials industry.
• Knowledge of wall paneling, ceilings/partitions, interior lining or joinery is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
